Yes Ted is the most famous serial killer in American History. Yes, Gacy killed a lot of boys and buried him in his basement. Yes, Dahmer ate people. But what do we know about Jack? IMO, Jack the Ripper was the worst of them all. What Jack did to his last victim was horrifying. He had time with his last victim. What say the board? Which one of these serial killers was the worst?

I knew Gacy IRL, he was 100% set up and framed.

They all were. He may not have been abused but when he found out that his father was "unknown" and that his mother was his sister probably started his down spiral.

Actually it’s believed that Bundy may have been abused by his grandfather who could also be his biological father (Bundy’s real biological father is still unknown, even by his mother, and it is theorized that his grandfather who was known to be abusive could have been a monster himself)

ETA: Eric Harris scares me most. Based on every journal and blog that kid ever kept and based on everything we know about his upbringing, he was legitimately just an evil kid intent on inflicting as much pain on others as he could before offing himself. Dylan Klebold by contrast was a depressed and angry teenager who was easily impressed by Harris’ charisma and made for an ideal accomplice. There was nothing to stop Harris from being himself, only attempts to prevent him from doing what he did by paying attention to the warning signs.

I can't remember the particulars, but I think Bundy had a pretty screwed up childhood. Of course, plenty people have screwed up childhoods and don't become serial killers, but I don't think it was Ozzie and Harriet raising young Ted.

Yes, very true. His grandfather possibly could have been his father and his "sister" was actually his mother. Imagine finding that out when he was a kid? Pretty messed up especially for a kid

Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold

They were not considered as serial killers but mass murderers. There is a big difference.

I’m aware, I’m speaking to the pathology of so-called psychopathic murderers like Bundy. Harris has proven as close to the theory regarding the possibility of psychopaths being born and not simply created through trauma or abuse. Klebold was just extremely depressed and easily influenced by someone like Harris.

Albert Fish is the one that disturbs me the most.

Kind of an odd group with Jack the Ripper in there. Seems out of place

Gary Ridgway is who I would put as the 4th.

Fish was pretty fricked up for the letters he wrote to the families describing what he did and his self mutilation. I’d also submit Dennis Rader as being pretty disturbing.

OJ has ruined society more than any other American killer, but he is no where near as disgusting and terrifying as Albert Fish.

Jack was pretty messed up. He disemboweled his last victim and put her organs neatly on the nightstand. Pretty sick shite. But the GRK went a decade killing people. I'm watching MindHunter and I'm thinking the GRK is the one they vaguely show tying the knots, etc.

Dean Corrl is right up there with Fish. JTR victims were not tortured over weeks like his victims were. Dude would break glass rods while inserted in kids' uretheas.

What about that Japenese nurse in the 1940's that killed over 100 babies just because the parents said they didn't have the money to care for them.

And she took money from the parents to kill, alive and healthy newborns.

You have to be one sick MFer to kill defenseless human beings because of finances.
