They could include Capt Marvel, but have her interdicted by someone just as powerful, aka, Wanda Maximoff, who...is probably just as powerful or more so, than Capt Marvel

And then have one of the team die at the hands of whatever bad guy they choose to use. Capt Marvel's friend Monica Rambeau should be the one who dies. It creates an arc for future conflicts.

It irrationally bothered me that Pepper was in there in one of the suits. Like at least the others have been doing Avenger shite. I didn't even know she was there, but she showed up in that scene. It's like they literally just said "Okay, we need every actress on the property to come to the set for a minute..."
