I never watched the original Star treks that he was in but even I understand the weight of his fame and the mark he made on the world through his acting.
RIP Spock

In addition to his star trek related awesomeness, I will remember his narration in a game I sunk a lot of time into (Civilization IV)

Wow, that really makes me feel old. Guy was an icon, even to people who thought Trekkies were weird.
I hope someone interviews Shatner in an appropriate way; I remember reading stories about the original series and all the crap those guys did off-stage. I'm sure Bill has a good tale or two.

Started my tribute Star Trek marathon as soon as I got home from work. Now watching Patterns of Force episode from season 2! In this episode, the crew of the Enterprise somewhat runs into Nazis!
