The cable network has ordered a fourth season of the comedy to begin airing in early 2013. In addition, TBS has purchased the rights to Cougar Town‘s first three seasons of 61 episodes that originally aired on ABC.

I like that. I never really got into Cougar Town, but I saw the value in it even though I rarely watched, so I didn't really want to see it get axed. I'm sure I'll be able to pick up on it pretty easily because TBS will probably make a big campain of it leading up to the new season.

This time of year always makes me scratch my head about the decision the networks make.

lthough the name they gave it was dumb. It was cougartown for like 1 episode.

A friend of mine told me that they just piled that name because they didn't think it would
Make it past the pilot, then it was too popular to change the name. That's why at the beginning of every episode, there's a subtle dig in the tag line for the show name. Pay attention next time- some of them are pretty funny
