Just finished the 4th season and I must say another strong season. Yes there’s holes in the entire season but it stays true to what it is, and it’s enjoyable. Surprised how close it’s staying historically.

I’ve been watching TLK since season 1 debuted on Netflix 4 years ago, so I’ve watched it before it exploded in popularity. I never thought I’d say this but I’ve enjoyed it a lot more than I did the last few seasons of GoT, by a long shot.
I hope Netflix confirms S5 soon. This show has been trending #3-#4 off and on this week on Netflix.

Solid show. Thing thing about this and Vikings that I liked is they do a good job of keeping the real history in it

I thought Sigtrygg was a horrible casting decision when he first walked into the Welsh palace but he grew on me.
I love this show. It has me looking up some of the history and I see Athelstan is Edward's successor. Dude is going to be a badass king being raised by uhtred

I have not read all the books and the last season of the show passed where I am in the books.
But true to the books after Alfred dies Uhtred starts getting older. He is still a fighter, but he is starting to lean more toward strategy and diplomacy.
