Ok we're splitting hairs here. Apparently Larry thought if was not a big deal bc its not like Jerry was evesdropping or anything. In fact it could have been funnier if Jerry was evesdropping and took in in the wrong context...

Oh, how's her pussy?
Better, not as itchy.

FWIW Jerry shouldn't have been that shocked when he realized the mother was ok with it. jmho.

Look I just thought CYE took the low brow route on that running gag. IMO, people misinterpretting that Larry is having an inappropriate relationship with a minor could have been really funny if it was implied and not BLURTED out.

to only 2 people, the mother and the doctor. it's not like he talked about it with regular people.
Don't forget about the waiter in the restaurant, when he asked them for menus because she had an appointment...
One of my favorite episodes btw...I was wondering if they would ever mention anything about the Micheal Richards and the N-Word situation...and the played it perfect!

I think LD knows what he is doing. The idea of somebody talking about a rash on some kid's vagina apparently makes people think inapropriate thoughts.
I'm sure this will tie into the next episode, as well. Things were going to well with Cheryl.

Funniest parts of the show:
1. Jerry's reaction to Larry's question about the little girl.
2. JB, as he "whited that shite out" as Duberstein.
3. Larry taking off running in the background as Michael Ricahrds meets the real Duberstein's wife.

3. Larry taking off running in the background as Michael Ricahrds meets the real Duberstein's wife.

i loved the joke Funkhouser told Jerry. I bet they had to shoot that 4 or 5 times because everyone was laughing. Funkhouser did an interview saying it was awesome telling one of the greatest comedians of all time a joke.

I laughed the hardest at this 1.
As for the original topic, I sort of agree. I wasn't offended by it, I just thought it was the only part of the episode that wasn't funny.

I wasn't offended but I just thought it was poorly handled.
The Richards/Leon portion was fantastic and I really think Larry gave Richards some much needed closure on the whole incident.

The whole episode was great but I agree the "pussy rash" was not really believable.
No mother would say that about her daughter. I also agree that Larry's reaction to her saying that, then him nonchalantly saying it over and over, did not make much sense.
Overall a really solid episode.
One slight nitpick would be that they used Vicki Lewis as the mother when she already played a part on the show as George's secretary.
Damn, just one more episode!

Agreed. This was my favorite of the season.
*****SPOILER FOR JT********
Leon watching the rehearsals with Larry was $$. "Seriously, you've never seen this show before??"

It's almost like David included the rash in the story so that it would overshadow the addressing of the Michael Richards incident. All of it was funny though.
"If only there was a word that I could call you that would make you equally as mad as I am now"

She was George's secretary on Seinfeld?
Posted on 11/16/09 at 11:44 pm to Acreboy
Yeah. The one he slept with in his office when he was with the Yankees.

Wait, it wasn't believable? What part of CYE is believable?

Jeez, enough with the pussy discussion. It clearly was crass, as was the punch line of Marty's joke. Who cares? If you don't think it's proper, don't watch it.
My biggest disappointment with the whole Seinfeld Reunion thing is that I am REALLY stoked now to see a new Seinfeld episode! The table reading was funny, and it was amazing how ALL of the characters picked up right where they left off after 10 years.....same mannerisms, same cadence, etc. NOTHING seemed korny or awkward in my opinion (except of course for George scratching his arse with the pen!!).
But alas, there is no reunion.
