Thanks for the recommendation. Watched it last night. Went in to be disappointed but really enjoyed it.

Good ending

Great movie! Not overly exciting, but it was a great story and well acted. I wish they would have showed something about how the son found out about Knox's profession. It took me a second to realize that Xavier was actually Jericho. In the beginning Knox acts like he was afraid of Jericho, but in the end you realize they were the same person and had a very close relationship.

High recommend it.

I’ve been really impressed with Cyclops’ range lately. He handled himself well with his rollercoaster of a character.

By the end of the movie I really wished it has been a limited series. There was so much that could have been fleshed out. It wasn't really needed for a movie but I think it could have made a great 6-8 episode series.

Couldn't agree more. There were a lot of storylines that could have been explored. I would have like to have seen something about how he got into that line of work and his time in the military.

They teased us with the line, "But he was turned in on the tax-evasion charge by Johnny..."
Johnny who? Who the hell is Johnny? Did Johnny get what was coming to him? Or was it a girl named Jonni?

But seriously, it's a mark of a great character if you walk away wanting a lot more. And kudos to Keaton for not leaving it open for a sequel (because he could've John Wicked the shite out of this thing).

Is this true? I didn't pick up on this while watching. So much of what Knox did was to keep the truth away from Jericho. I wasn't sure how much of that was to keep Jericho "clean" or because Knox didn't trust him.

I did a google search and came across a couple of theories that Xavier was Jericho but most don't agree. I read Xavier made a comment to Knox that he'll clear things up with Jericho later.

I agree. I think there was enough with that storyline that they could've done four or five hours worth of material more than what they did. And kept us interested in the meantime. Maybe some flashbacks to what happened to set things up.

Just watched it. Quality film. Keaton did a very good job with it. It was entertaining and the actors all did a good job. Not overly slick but had enough style to keep it interesting. Much better than Nobody IMO..
