Why shite out $2M when you can talk internet users into paying for it? Dude must not have too much faith in the movie if he can't fork over $2M of his own cash

wow I wasn't against this but I feel like vm started a bad trend but after watching that video i'm disappointed in braff. he is basically whining about how the real world works and thinks his vision is better than everyone else's. he had people that wanted to fund it but refused because they wanted input. well no fricking shite. whether you agree with him or not rob Thomas did this as a last resort for veronica mars after years of trying to get it funded.

For one, Braff's film is a wholly original project written by him and his brother Adam, rather than a feature film adaptation of a beloved TV show with an established cult fan base. For another, like most indie film projects, Wish I Was Here has zero deals in place for distribution, whereas the Veronica Mars movie already had one in place with Warner Bros. Digital when their campaign launched.

It cost more than 2 million dollars to make the film. I'm sure a lawyer of your magnitude with 400,000 posts would know this.

Garden State is horrible. It's a script that seems like was written by a gaggle of pabst drinking hipsters who used every indie cliche in the book.

It's a nice looking turd. But still a turd. Don't know what my team affiliation has to do with me not liking this piece of shite but ok.

Didn't notice your sig. You're A Braff fanboy/girl. To each their own.

I'll support a sequel but only if Braff kills himself in the 1st minute of the movie.

He's not saying the movie costs $2 million to make. He's saying that creative control over the movie, which can be had for $2 million apparently, is easily available to Braff without him having to con his followers into giving it to him.

You have still yet to explain why it's hippie or how it uses every cliche in the book? Looks have gone over your head.

One of the things i really liked about the video is Donald Faison. Its really cool how actually close those two are, you can tell why those two worked so well together on Scrubs

I just pledged 125 dollars. Some might say you crazy but I won some bets from the hornets over/under wins and the NC game in the $$$$.

It's almost at 2 million dollars in a day and a half
