I know I'm late to the party. Question did zuckerburg have any input in this?

I'm assuming the information is fairly accurate though quite skewed.

Based on the film alone, it seems
Like if your going to steal an idea make sure it will make alot of money and then say frick it, cause nothing will actually happen to you

I can back that Timberlake's portrayal of Sean Parker was not over the top or skewed, the guy is a jackass.

this is about how he is:

rented a place from a client of mine, and completely ruined the house. Dog shite on the carpets, pissed on the curtains, burned stuff in the oven, all furniture damaged, etc,etc....like he's a rockstar or something.

As far as the movie goes, it is based off of the book written from the guy he screwed over's point of view. The rumored settlement was about 650 million.

Sean Parker did admit that he was not nearly as cool as Justin Timberlake.

I liked this movie. The sound editing was retarded. The movie had so much dialogue it was impossible to hear all of it because the club or bar music would be so frickin loud.

Not sure what was so great about the score either. It was nice, but it's not like it was some great part of the movie. Kind of like Moneyball, it was just kind of there.

Yeah, I just don't get how he wasn't completely destroyed in the courts. They sent a cease and desist a week after it went live.....WAY before the site had any hint of success. Basic proof that they were sure that he was stealing their shite.

I'm sure the tribe must have pulled a few favors in conning the Winklevoss twins into settling for next to nothing.

Interesting about the Winklevosses in the movie - they didn't use twins. The faces you see are Armie Hammer. They had him and a guy with the same build and just CGI'd Hammer's face on to the other dude when they were in the same scene.

These are the dudes:

no, but being how big FB was getting and how mossad/cia and the like want to datamine personal communications and track connections (see Israeli companies accessing US phone records(ie AMDOCS) and tracking who makes calls to whom)

Their legal counsel was pressured into getting them to accept a settlement...judges hinting that they don't have a case, might get nothing, ie "it's just like myspace"

I literally couldn't hear what they were saying in the bar at the beginning and when they first meet Sean Parker in that club.

And I love Trent Reznor, but I didn't get Academy Award winner out of the music.

Couldn't disagree more, I thought the music was awesome for this movie. Go back, and watch the "it's raining" deposition scene...the music in that scene is so good. To think that music was created simply for a bunch of people talking legalese around a big table is so impressive to me.

+1. LOVED the entire score. Different from anything I've heard in movies in a while.
