It is like your typical, trapped in a house, sci-fi/horror film... But with that said, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The ending was fantastic. It did catch me off guard to see Ryan Reynolds go so soon But that was one of the many curveballs they tried to throw at you.
With that said, the ending leads towards the producers setting up a possible sequel on Earth that would be cool to see. Anyone like the idea of them continuing this movie on Earth?

There's no chance of this movie getting a sequel

Watched it a couple weeks ago, it wasn't so great that I'd be stoked about an encore.
I might watch a sequel, but I'd rather they had just ended it with Calvin flying off into space in the pod. Even that could've been made into a sequel with some ridiculous Hollywood storyline, like Calvin lands on the moon, humans try to colonize the moon bc of overpopulation, Calvin awakens and starts killing everyone. Him making it to earth while all the characters are killed is dumb to me though.

Wasn't awful by any means but the ending was very predictable. I wish both of them would have landed and THEN you realize that he landed as well, after she exits her pod only to be terrified when she sees his pod in the distance.

I liked the ending, but I'm not sure how much of a danger Calvin would be to the human race. Could he really destroy all life on earth all by himself?
If he can somehow reproduce, then Earth could be in big trouble.

The ending sucked. Horribly. Extremely piss poor story telling. The rest of the movie was ok
