The acting is pretty shitty all around, and I include Lange in that. I do think Bates does well though, and I like her character.

I think the plots are stupid too...it doesn't matter if someone dies; they will just be regenerated or brought back to life. It's happened like three times so far this season, and I still have to catch up on the last episode or two.

There isn't a single character that I enjoy seeing on screen or that I am pulling for...they all are basically horrible people (except maybe for Nan).

I think one reason I don't like it is because they tried to set it in modern times, whereas something like a coven and witchcraft would have been MUCH better served set a long time ago (shite, could've even done it just after LaLaurie died ~ 150 years ago).


I have been marathon-watching BB lately, and once I finish with that (tonight most likely), my next series will likely be AHS season one. I've heard good things from ya'll about it...I just hope season three isn't a sign of what's in store when I watch S1 (which some of you have said it's definitely not).
