I didn't think it was possible to be worse than Batman VS Superman but they found a way.

Give us spoilers please

I doubt it's that damn bad.

Agreed. Joss Whedon at least knows how to write dialog, something Snyder is totally incapable of. Additionally he'll remove any totally retarded plot points like the Lex Luthor prototype bullet fiasco that he uses to frame Superman for murder. That alone I think will make sure that this movie is at least superior to BvS.

It looks like a pile of shite. Current DC movies are ruining my childhood memories of shows like the super friends and batman animated series. So depressing.

DC is just hitting them out of the park lately. Suicide Squad, Batman vs Superman, now Justice League.

Ask me whatever you'd like to know.

Is there anything close to as stupid as Lex Luthor's plan in BvS?

Joss Whedon did everything he could to get rid of the Snyder Stench from JL but it's still Zack fricking Snyder and there's no wiping that stain out of the carpet.
DC Hiring Snyder is one of the biggest and most devastating miscalculations in Hollywood history.

No, I don't think the villain's plan was that bad, but it wasn't anything you haven't seen before and they barely build him up at all aside from a quick little montage on who he is. Overall, he's a pretty forgettable villain.

I thought you were using the one trick pony line today.

I mean just tell me everything about the plot

Spoilers obviously
It's basically Avengers 1 plot for plot. Steppenwolf is Loki, he is brought to earth in hopes of using a powerful weapon to bring on an invasion and fuse his home world with Earth. The Justice League form and it's pretty apparent that they looked to Marvel for character inspiration. Barry Allen is basically Peter Parker and Aquaman is pretty much Thor except with water.
Anyway, in more detail, Steppenwolf comes to earth looking for these 3 boxes called the Mother boxes which when formed together, become a powerful weapon and bring Steppenwolf's home world and alien forces to earth. Batman and Wonder Woman come together and recruit Aquaman, Cyborg and Flash. They battle once and realize its not enough so they use one of the mother boxes to revive Superman who returns home because he's crazy and has to remember who he is, he of course does come back to himself and whoops Steppenwolfs arse.
The reason this worked for Avengers is because you had the solo movies to fall back on. In JL, you've got nothing for Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman and it just makes for a freaking mess and then they try to rip off Spiderman and Thor which makes me hate the characters even more.
At the end of the movie after the credits, Deathstroke goes aboard a yacht where Lex Luthor is and they agree to form the Legion of Doom.

Yeah that sounds about like what I'm expecting, and I'm glad to be waiting until it's available for streaming at home. Probably will wait until it's free too.
I think with as many movies as Marvel has put out over the last decade, it's impossible for DC to put out anything original in terms of plot. It's like that South Park episode "The Simpsons did it!" You'll always see a similarity between what DC is trying to do and what Marvel has already done.
While I understand the money-making appeal of making a Justice League series, I would say that the DC characters would thrive in more (cue fanboy mode) Nolan-like movies. The Nolan Batman trilogy felt original and were for the most part executed well. Instead of going for the big blockbuster-explosion movies with world-ending plots, they should be focusing more on character development.

I agree with that, but Whedon came in late to a fiasco i doubt he could correct.
If i painted a canvas with black and dark grey shite mess jackson pollock style and Manet came along and tried to paint over it, sure at the end you'd be able to see some of Manet's genius but you'd never be able to get over the underlying nonsense i left before he got there.

There is no way its as bad as BVS. That's impossible.

These comments always crack me up. So what you are saying is that now that these movies are coming out and all suck a big dick, the cartoons and movies of your childhood now suck as well? Are you saying that the fond memories you had as a child of watching these characters has now been erased?

No. What we're saying is we got so excited for these movies because they made us feel like kids again.
The announcement of the DCEU, was like waiting for Saturday to see the next episode of Batman TAS. The execution and reality of the DCEU crushed that excited light out of our lives and turned us into cynics that can't look at at DC property without the feelings of anger from this DCEU coming up thus sullying the overall enjoyment.

Me 5 years ago:
Dude, remember how awesome Batman TAS was? Yeah it was awesome. And Nolan's trilogy was badass as well.
Remember Superman and Justice League? Yeah man i really hope they make those movies. I used to get so jacked up watching that.
Me now:
Dude remember Batman TAS. Yeah it was awesome and then Synder happened and now i hate the thought of DC.
Dude remember Justice League and Superman. Stop, that memory is too painful.
