Watch a guy totally transform his life and be super successful, to throw it all away for some hick hometown girl that wouldn't give him the time of day years before. Just a horrible premise and not that funny. Especially if you don't like Ryan Reynolds, which most people don't..

Not a troll. I don't like Ryan Reynolds movies in general. He gloms to the camera, his eye rolls and constant sarcasm. Its insufferable. It's why his career was a massive failure after a litany of bombs. Deadpool kind of saved it, but he is still horrible. That movie and the body swap one are the top of his bomb streak. It's horrible and him imitating a fat, effeminate geek is painful to watch. Glad you liked it though..

It really is an underrated flick. So many good moments. Fat Reynolds is money.

My wife and I love that movie.

Somehow this movie has never been on my radar. Never even heard of it and I was at a prime age to watch it when it came out. I must have wrote it off as just another romcom which I hated back then.

Just gave it a shot tonight because of this thread. Loved it! The mix of humor between the subtle slapstick to the stuff with the brothers to mocking 90s romcoms was awesome. Thank you to the OP and whoever bumped this thread!

As an aside, the actress that plays Jamie is heinous.

This is the GOAT (millennial) Christmas comedy.

I had never seen this movie....I was on a high school senior trip on a cruise. Ran to my room to grab some shitty Vodka. This movie had just started. Spent the next hour and a half away from friends. Movie drew me in. Oh well.
