Ballers is very much like Entourage only with athletes instead of actors.

Ballers was entertaining but no where near the show Entourage was.

Ballers is a dollar general version of entourage.

Rescue Me

Halfway through the last season on a rewatch as we speak. Watched it when it originally aired but working retail as a high schooler got in the way too much. Decided to rewatch and as an adult in todays society enjoy it even more. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve said “man they could never get away with that now” during this rewatch.

Thankfully it doesn’t completely fall off the rails the last couple of seasons like Nip/Tuck did. To me the two are always linked because they both aired at the same time on FX and I loved both at the time.

Agree, but nostalgia made me complete the recent re-watch. It was rough the last two seasons, basically after the carver was solved.

Rescue me on the other hand stays on topic and doesn’t get nearly as unbelievable and cheap.

FX shows in general seem to do that. Nip/Tuck, The Shield, and SOA did not finish as well as they started.

Rescue Me was the exception.
