I keep waiting for someone to get him to reprise one of his roles. This would probably be my pick for that.

I get that he may have moved on from acting. Dealing with real world matters can do that to a person. But heck, the kids are grown up and fans would love to see him back. Especially in the right role. Unless he's just lost all interest in acting. Which makes sense.

was definitly one of Gibson’s least racy films though.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Mel Gibson confused for Mel Brooks before.

Bill Pullman is 70 and Daphne Zuniga is now 63. The only character that would look the same is the robot that sounded like Joan Rivers.

The only Spaceballs sequel that I want is one that skewers how ridiculous the post-prequel Star Wars films were. But I don't think that Jake Kasdan is interested in doing a Dewey Cox version of Star Wars.

I loved the opening sequence of "Spaceballs" when they had the ridiculously huge spaceship that Dark Helmet commanded. It went on forever and ever as they panned the side of it traveling in space. It set the tone for the movie.
