I wanted this to be professional, efficient, adult, cooperative. Not a lot to ask. Alas, your Mr. Takagi did not see it that way... so he won't be joining us for the rest of his life

Shane Black at his finest. Watched this last night and was taken aback by how good the dialogue is compared to today's films.
Also, huuuuge nitpicks and plot holes in gbe film though. Powell is 1/2 mile from the tower at a bodega and they're literally having a gunfight with unsuooressed fully automatic 9mm and 556 on the rooftop..... And nobody hears anything??
Mist have been a shite load of traffic noise on Christmas Eve I guess.
