Over the course of 10 years we've had 3 "Hottest Actress of All-Time Tournaments" here on the M/TV board. The Three winners were Kate Beckinsale, Alexandra Daddario and Jennifer Connelly.
Daddario was really the only flavor of the month winner, although she is certainly hot, but that was around True Detective time and she had a pretty memorable scene still fresh on peoples mind...

The scene where young "Noodles", played by Di Nero as an adult is spying on the young girl played by Jennifer Connely as a kid and then Elizabeth McGovern as an adult sets up his sexual desire for her from a young age.
She always insulted him and shot him down when he tried to be with her on a level of more than just friends when they were young. As an adult Jewish mobster, he wasn't putting up with rejection and took what he had been wanting for all those years.
Not saying that was right, but that's how the movie played out.
