Really enjoyed the first 3 episodes.
Nice pull by James Gunn (he’s married to the main blonde)
I think they rushed some of the character development/bond of the team a little bit and sometimes it felt a bit forced and clunky because of that but overall kind of like dead pool without as much CGI needed

But to be honest I don't know of any better first episode of any superhero TV series since Adam West's Batman.
This shite was glorious, laugh-out-loud fun.
Even the lesbian back-story which seemed forced at first (why do we care about this woman's family?) gets fleshed out quickly when we find out who she really is.
Peacemaker's father is such a brutally honest character. Just perfect. (When he gave his racist list, I had to explain to my wife what a Papist was, and that he was talking about us.
) Fast forward through the credits till the end. They put a comedy button on there before going to black.

I agree it’s a little clunky but damn it’s funny and entertaining. A whole lot of wtf did he just say moments. Definitely the best thing DC had out out in this “universe”.

That eagle CGI is impressive.
Some of eagly's movements aren't natural, so ultimately you know it's not real, but the textures of the beak, eyes, feathers & claws are overwhelmingly photo-realistic. That deception's hard to achieve with these ultra-HD OLED tv's that easily point out bad CGI.
Unless, it's a puppeteered eagle actually on-set, the eagle CGI is outstanding.

i haven't been with anyone... any woman in years.
i want to give the show credit for being able to have some funny woke points without beating you over the head with it and taking itself too seriously. this is just my impression from the first episode.
- black lesbian is just funny and genuinely likeable. they don't try to overly girl power the character
- dad's a racist, but like a real world racist. not some made up maniacal racist that only exists in hollywood's mind.

So I mentioned that I love the opening sequence... and I had to look up the song.. it sounds 80's but apparently done in 2010 by a band called Wig Wam.
But I know what I like about it.. it sounds like Steel Panther. And now I need Peacemaker to throw in some raunchy Steel Panther music.

Baw making bird sounds. Apparently, for eagles most foley artists use recorded red-tailed hawk sounds but Eagley is an actual voice actor doing his sounds.
