That's about the only channel my wife watches and yeah, Christmas in July is a deliberate Hallmark Channel thing. Relax, smile and watch and perhaps you'll forget the heat and get in some sort of holiday spirit.

Kind of related, but I was eating lunch at Taco Bell today and I guess they were playing a generic Taco Bell restaurant soundtrack and a Christmas song came on. It was unusual

My 84 year old mom told me she's been watching that. Said they're doing it on two Hallmark Channels.
