Posted by Bluefin I am admittedly a total ignorant dumbass when it comes to comic books of any kind, but how exactly does Superman even fight Batman? Like how is Batman even a challenge for Superman? The Superman in Man of Steel was insanely strong. I know I'm in the minority for really liking Man of Steel too. I just wish this wasn't the sequel, Supes needed more development IMO.
I agree and I loved MOS too. I can't understand the bashing it gets here. It was gritty, violent, large scale, and well cast. Maybe people actually miss the goofy campiness of the old Superman movies.

My biggest fear: We have a montage similar to X-Men First Class where Superman and Batman visit different heroes in hiding to convince them to join the Justice League.

that part of the movie was so lame and lazy.
I'd say that whole sequence is what stops the movie from being in the very top tier of best comic films.

I can see the scene now. Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out For A Hero" plays in the background. Batman and Supes walk up to some lifeguard stand on a beach to recruit....Aquaman.

And find Wonder Woman as a congressman... She declines with a "#%ck off!"

I don't think we will be seeing any of the other Justice League characters featured in this film for nearly the same amount of time as the Superman or Batman
I'm sure it will be similar to the Rhino in Spider-Man.
