The Fredrico Fellini War Trilogy is must watch. The Criterion transfer is great.

The World at War is the best doc series ever made and nothing else will ever come close.

Me too. High school kids should be forced to watch it as well as Spartacus Olsen’s “War Against Humanity” sub-series. I look forward to the new episodes every week!

I love the Apocalypse series. There are series on WW2, Stalin, Hitler, Eastern Front, WW1, and so forth.

They are on AHC channel.

Great rare footage and in color.

Not a doc but liberator on Netflix was pretty good in graphic novel animation.... I read the book , much better but his company spent over 500 days in combat, Sicily to Munich.

If you didn't grasp at what those guys went through, then I guess you would find it boring.

Not everything is like the landing scene from Saving Private Ryan.

I think it's fascinating to see how the world was over 100 years ago, but if all you see is ' incredibly boring ', then so be it.

BBC’s The World at War is the GOAT.

First-hand interviews with major players and eyewitnesses in every episode. From both sides.

Narrated by Laurence Olivier. Don’t watch it all at once or the theme song will haunt you. You’ve been warned.

Absolute, hands down the most impressive, Informative, and impactful war documentary you will ever see.

The intro and outro portions are especially stirring. The freeze frames at the end with the Olivier narration are hauntingly powerful. LINK

Ken Burn’s documentary The War is fantastic. It’s told from the perspective of people in four different towns across the US. Does a great job explaining what life was like on the home front.

I can't remeber the title but there was a documentary series on Europe from 1945-1950

It was incredible depicting the early cold war power plays, retribution on ethnic Germans, and the plight of european jews

I wasn't able to complete it and am kicking myself for it.
