I'm in the middle of a re watch and it is damn good. Great characters and a really easy moving plot. Shame that they kept turds like SOA and American Horror Story around for years but canned this show just after one season. FX has been money for a long time now but they really fricked up with Terriers.

Luck on HBO.

Dustin Hoffman, Dennis Farina, Nick Nolte and Michael Gambon.

I'm still pissed they cancelled this show.

Luck on HBO.

David Milch has had some bad luck on HBO. Seems like all his stuff gets canned early. At least we get a Deadwood movie this year though.

Terriers was really good. I actually think it suffered a bit because of its stupid name.

Almost without question.

Firefly was incredible, but I don't think it ever reached its potential in the way Terriers did. Donal Logue in Terriers is god-tier acting. I can't believe it's almost 10 years-old.

Terriers was a great show, damn shame it didn't get a chance. Firefly and Freaks and Geeks were also great, as already mentioned by other posters.

The way I look at it, if we agree to this, then the Terriers win

Is it streaming somewhere currently, I'd love to do a rewatch?

I only watched Freaks and Geeks but that aling with Terriers and Firefly always seem to be the ones mentioned as the top shows that were cancelled after one year.

Yeah those three are the finalists, although I’m also a big fan of The Brink and Undeclared to make a solid top 5

Terriers was amazing. FX did not advertise it properly and it suffered.

Terriers might be #1, but Luck(as it was mentioned) was amazing as well.

Another one Ill add is Chicago Code. Jason Clarke, Jennifer Beals, Delroy Lindo. Fox never gave this a chance. At least we got a conclusion to the one season.

The Brink is fantastic as well. Didn't they just have a hard time getting Robbins and Jack Black signing back on though for another season?

I’m fairly certain The Brink was renewed for a second season, but it never happened for some reason.

Cannot argue with Terriers, Freaks and Geeks, or Firefly here, but one I have never seen mentioned is the ABC series Invasion, starring William Fichtner and Tyler Labine (of Tucker and Dale fame). I thought this show was awesome, and it was critically acclaimed. Cannot help but wonder if the politics surrounding Katrina had something to do with its cancellation.

And it’s mind-blowingly retarded ad campaign

Fustercluck is one of my favorite eps of any show

Also one of the GOAT show themes
