No, RDJ is the gold standard.
quote:

Earnings per Avengers movie: The Avengers: (2012): Roughly $50 million. Avengers: Age of Ultron: (2015): Approximately $50 million. Avengers: Infinity War: (2018): Around $75 million. Avengers: Endgame: (2019): A $20 million upfront salary plus $55 million in backend profits, totaling $75 million.

quote:

Total MCU Earnings: Downey's lucrative deals included not just base pay but also profit-sharing agreements, making him the highest-paid actor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His combined earnings from his MCU tenure—including the four Avengers movies, three Iron Man films, and other cameos—are estimated to be between $500 and $600 million.

That’s how you do it.

I can make shite up too

Do you think the studio, knowing in PTA's long career his highest grossing film was 76 million dollars, was going to double or quadruple that?

You really don't get how this works

I do get how it works. Hollywood execs are making a lot of stupid decisions that are costing the studios money. Google the costs of One Battle After Another. Are all of these industry rags lying to hurt PTA and the studio? Is a big star tentpole movie losing movie unique? No.

It’s already over $100m worldwide and hasn’t even had its third weekend yet or opened in China. It’s going to be in theaters for months and probably re-released when it’s the front runner for best picture.

All the current indicators are it will break even, and that doesn’t even take into account the more intangible economic benefits that come with the cache of being the studio that greenlit the best picture winner and is the most talked about movie of 2025.
