Is Big Bang Theory the Best Sitcom in the past 10 years?

I vote yes.
As far as all time, it may be up there as well, but only time will tell.
Obviously it's not the SBTB, Boy Meets World, and Full House standard.
I'd say it could give Fresh Prince, Family Matters though.
I hate watching TV, but I really enjoy this show.

Seinfeld says bullshite on this claim. (Assuming its under 10 years old as I really have no idea)
And BBT is really enjoyable and up there for sure, but not the best.

Am I the only one who thinks sitcoms are a bit outdated nowadays?
I don't know how to classify comedies like Modern Family,Sunny in Philly,Community or The Office. But, I feel like they are miles ahead of sitcoms that just hit you with one liners and a laugh track.

This is just a terrible troll thread.
ETA: JBeam, I agree that shows like Sunny and The League aren't aren't "traditional" sitcoms as we are accustomed to thinking of them, but they are absolutely "situational comedies" in their purest form. By that I mean they are comedies predicated upon an insular group of characters sharing experiences in a limited environment. I guess the distinction I'm making is that (at least in my mind) sitcoms historically have been more "family friendly" than some of the modern day incarnations.
I'm certainly up for a rebuttal/debate if someone wanted to start a new thread, but I won't be doing it.

These are the new sitcoms and they're awesome. BBT is the old type of sitcom which is getting less and less popular

BMW was good for it's time and I'll always remember it as a childhood favorite. But, it's definitely not one of those series [Seinfeld,Fraiser,Cheers & Friends] that I would watch over again.
