You see, the fact I forgot this is how good Thanos mind fricked me man.

What if Doctor Strange knew what victorious way the avengers would win and didn't tell Stark before he disintegrated?

That's my guess.

Yep. Strange faded away. I think it's clear that he saw the only way to victory was for him to give up the stone willingly, because after he did so Thanos said he would spare half of his planet.

You’re living in this fantasy world where no one has any faith in Marvel studios. They made their bones with Iron Man and Avengers. The Russo brothers are the kings of superhero films.

And you can drop the internet tough guy routine.

Loyal Superman fans including me do not deserve Zack Snyder's idiotic and blasphemous representation of the greatest hero in comic book history.

That would be Spider-Man bro.

Dr. Strange can also open up a portal to anywhere but I'm not sure if he's capable of doing that across space?

But you're not seeing the picture at all. If I were to show you Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Winter Soldier, and Thor Ragnarok and tell you 10 years ago that all of these take place in the same universe that would accumulate into a grand cinematic spectacle, you'd tell me I was high. The fact you can't comprehend how ambitious the initial concept is and that they miraculously pull it off over a decade later doesn't speak well for you.

This was laughed out of the room pretty much until the original Avengers. Iron Man did well, the others didn't. No one was expecting the Avengers to do what it did in the box office, and they didn't expect shite like Guardians of the Galaxy and Black Panther to gross what they did. You don't seem to be comprehending what I'm saying or the scale of this project.

I definitely think The Mad Titan regrets alot of his actions. I think his perfect sunsets fell short of how he really wanted to feel.

I love how Thanos isnt one dimensional. That motherfricker is a bad bad man.

I thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Strange in this. Spidey's death was gut wrenching man

Nope.

Superman is a literal god with so much incredible power living in a world made of cardboard that could fold around him if he's not careful and he never complains about it. If he was so much as anything closely resembling an anti-hero, the world would a be a lot more dangerous and he would be hunted daily by the law and the military.

Btw, speaking of Superman, just by power and strength feats alone, Henry Cavill's Superman would definitely handled Thanos easily without all the stones, and a close win with like 1-3 of the stones in the glove.

Not really. After Iron Man we wanted an Avengers movie. After Captain America we expected an Avengers movie. After Avengers we expected a build up to a Thanos movie. Infinity War is what we’ve expected since Avengers. This movie is another step in a long process. As the process continues, we expect more. The surprise would’ve been if this movie had sucked.

OML is talking about the Vision of this from 10+ years ago. That long ago, before you saw Guardians, would you have believed you would watch a super hero with a tree that says 1 line, and a raccoon? AND LOVE IT?

The MCU movies have consistently been singles, doubles and the occasional home run with (so far) few, if any strikeouts or double plays. By doing so, they have built up a cinematic universe where they can really do anything -- and people will still like it.

Marvel has changed the game.

It will be interesting to see if/how other studios try to duplicate this. While it may not always work, I think it's still a net benefit for long-term viewers.

It's amazing to me how much they have clobbered DC intellectual property as well. That normal movie viewers may equate the popularity/interest in things like Groot and Iron Man to Superman and Flash is crazy to me.

Loved Thor, Rocket, and Groot in this movie. When they came back to Earth, everyone went fricking nuts

Would've LOVED to see the immigration song playing during that scene

Naw cause this movie had more than two white people in it. Give it a rest. It's one thing to be racist. It's another to be stupid about it.

Uh yes I do.

I'm speaking in a way that would make sense for casual observers and readers of comic books to understand.

Of course I know Superman is an alien, but he's an alien with god like power and that keeps the fact that a lot of people see him kind of like a god himself.

Right because the writers are not afraid to take risks with white characters to advance the plot and story line.

Not so much with a majority black movie hence why I called it bland, cookie cutter and formulaic.

Black Panther may not have been a complete disaster but it wasn't very remarkable.
