no, Thor only
Groot is still alive btw. The handle of stormbreaker is groot's arm. Groot can regrow himself from his body parts.

Black people time.

I have no problem with your theory. On reflection it seemed like a lot more time went by than should have at the end of the movie. The whole Thanos wakes up after he activates the gauntlet thing needs further scrutiny.

Why do you think this? The reason only Thor could life Mjolnir is because of the spell Odin placed on it. Storm Breaker has no such spell.
Unless Peter Dinklange's character said something about it and I missed it.

So is Groot worthy enough to wield Thor's hammer?

I'm trying to figure out how they could introduce Adam Warlock prior to Avengers 4.
Technically, he has already been introduced. Why couldn't they build his story in Avengers 4? If they are going to use him before GoTG3, they could easily do it in the next Avengers movie.

Someone’s gonna weird the gauntlet and roll back reality and time. Could be nebula or captain marvel

yeah, I'm wrong about the axe.

So they just took the little girl from deadpool, and molded Groot after her.

According to the writers warlock was in the initial draft but they dropped him
quote:
"We didn't introduce Adam Warlock, because it's a massive backbend and you practically have to make an Adam Warlock movie to introduce him. He just can't walk onscreen. So, there was a brief moment where we were like, Ehhh..., and then we were like- (He points to the movie's poster). We have that many characters already! And then there were others we couldn't use. Like, Silver Surfer would have been useful, but we can't touch him. Currently."

Yeah I don’t see them going down that road. The only way back is for someone to get that gauntlet.

Maybe he's been calling her for the past ten years and she's just said, "No." Sort of like how Hulk didn't want to be in this film.

Speaking of Captain Mavel, I’m convinced we’re going to find out the Secretary of Defense is a Skrull.

This would be somewhat sensible analysis if there were tons of mostly black superhero movies out there. But the risk in Black Panther was in producing the movie.
Wait until there is a movie about a black superhero team before you start making such comparisons.
Uh.. they are aliens and people with super powers and people that turn huge and green and can fly and are magical sorcerers. Who gives two craps what color they are? Seriously. Who gives a crap?

I don't. But there are some posters whose worldview is seemingly threatened by the presence of black superheroes. As though the underlying principles of heroics can only be limited to a certain subset of humanity.

So my thought is, they basically thinned the lineup (I know they'll return in part 2, but it's going to open up with a smaller lineup). Why can't part 2 treat Warlock somewhat like Thanos was in part 1. Part one was about Thanos and part 2 can be the Warlock movie.

Just from this thread, you seem more concerned about it than most.

Have we discussed the look on Thanos' face when Cap initially stops Thanos' punch?
