I'm assuming they would try and get back the main writers but aside from Chris Carter I dont think I've seen anyone mentioned for a possible return.

CGI is sometimes very cool, I actually like the added late additions in original Star Wars - I dug seeing Han Solo with Jabba. What I hate is:
1. Adding CGI to create a background scene that is obviously done on a stage - that could easily be done outside with much better drama and scope (The Hobbit Trilogy and the Jungle scene chase in Indy4).
2. Adding things with CGI that are just stupid - The before-mentioned Indy kid swinging all Tarzan-like with monkeys.
