I would agree with your synopsis. Overall it was a good binge worthy series.

It was like all the Harlan Coben series
Flawed but still enjoyable/bingable.

It's bingeable and entertaining. But it's also completely unrealistic and downright stupid. I'm not sure how Harlan Coben keeps getting away with these types of shows but they certainly are capable of drawing you in.
SPOILER:
So we are to believe the child was in the same general area for 5+ years, living with a high-profile, very connected family that had ties to the wife/husband of the child, and no one ever noticed anything? Come on...

Not to mention the Drew Brees birthmark that would have been very recognizable

told my wife the same thing...with all the money they had they couldn't pay a plastic surgeon to fix that thing so there would be no recognition possible ?

Agreed. Watching it right now. The whole premise is pretty ridiculous, but if you ignore that, it's fairly entertaining.

I actually think most of Coben’s adaptations suck.
I will find you was pretty enthralling start to finish and despite the ridiculous premise of a giant conspiracy of killing a 5 YO and framing the dad, actually paid off.

The only thing these Harlan Coben series on Netflix have done for me is to guarantee I never read one of his books.
This series had so many plot holes and was just terrible. Also, why does Sam Worthington even do these shows? He made a fortune off Avatar and is probably the worst actor working today. Take your money and go away. He makes everything worse.

I know I watched it, but for the life of me I keep forgetting everything about it. It's wierd, just a completley forgettable show for me.

By the last scene, he's about to start plowing his ex-sister-in-law. Which is lovely. It is outright stupid, but fun enough to waste a few hours on.

These shows make you think, but they have flaws like plots that don’t tie to anything. Shelter on Prime was awful.

Stay Close & The Stranger are probably the two best adaptations.
