At this point you’ll probably think it’s meh.
Other than the stress of family being there jokes the movie is dated and the only reason people really enjoy it is the nostalgia. So if you didn’t grow up watching it every Christmas you’ll just think it’s another slightly funny late 80s movie.
We watch it every Christmas, and I’m usually on my phone through most of it.

I think it’s hilarious and I love it. Of course no comedy holds up after repeated watches.
