Of course they don't, star wars will always have potential. They can turn it around, they just can't take the fans for granted anymore

TFA was a safe, formulaic movie that was essentially A New Hope, complete with the death of an older mentor.
They would have been regarded as mostly forgettable paint-by-numbers projects if not for the absolute abortion that was The Last Jedi. That derailed everything.
They could have literally printed money with just average products.

They’ve made more than 12 billion dollars on it since the purchase so things are going pretty good for them, especially with Andor being highly acclaimed. It’s a shame that story is over. That was the best show on tv this year.
