I really enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun.

I haven't seen Captain America Civil War but does it go into more detail about the origins of Peter Parker becoming Spiderman?

No, nothing about his origin in Civil War that I remember.

I haven't seen a ton of the Marvel movies but I felt Homecoming kind of just jumped right into the story. I obviously know the background of the character but I was wondering if I missed something.

I don't think we needed a 3rd Peter Parker gets bitten by a radioactive spider movie.

Just sayin.

The thing I didn't like about Spider-Man Homecoming was that he didn't appear to be really all that good at being Spider-Man.

Since he’s had two in recent years I think they just made the wise decision of assuming most know the origin story at this point

I TOTALLY agree, I just wanted to make sure there was "footage" I didn't miss. I didn't want another origin story either.

Well he's 16, and he just got these powers, and this new suit. This isn't Spider-Man 3. he's still learning how to be Spider-man and what he's capable of. I'm sure the next time you see him on screen he wont' be as wreckless.

Sure he will. It's already time to reboot the series for the 3rd time. We need to see Uncle Ben die again so that we're reminded that with great power comes great responsibility.

How'd you feel about the first Iron Man?

People complain about Marvel villains being weak and for the most part they're right.

You're right though. Keaton/Vulture was awesome and actually a sympathetic villain.

The scene with him driving was tense.

I still haven't seen the new Thor, but Dr. Strange is probably my favorite of Phase 3. I've seen it like 4 times. Amazing movie. I need to watch Civil War again. Guardians 2 was good, but was missing something to be the best.

I'm sure if this came out years ago I would've enjoyed it more. I was honestly bored with it. My son and his buddies loved it though, and I'm sure that's all that matters to Disney.
