I do not understand how Finn Jones got cast for Iron Fist.

Honestly, outside of Charlie Cox, the whole lot of them are terrible. Colter and Ritter are somewhat decent at times but my god, Finn Jones is just terrible.

I would like to see who the other candidates were. He's ok to me but I think his series and part were written poorly so that hurts him bc he has no charisma.
I like everyone else although Luke cage is similar to iron fist, shitty writing and the lead can't carry it beyond what's written.

Honestly daredevil is the only good marvel show. The rest are trash.

I go back and forth on IF as a show, so not disagreeing with you but I think I read somewhere the production schedule didn't allow them to choreograph the fight scenes in IF season 1 as well as Daredevil.

IF started strong for me and then just kinda fell apart. Maybe it was the writing, the 'staged' fight scenes, etc., but on reflection I think it was what the OP stated. Finn was honestly, terrible. No charisma, unathletic, and not a very good actor, IMO.
Makes sense what you said about the choreography. Just looked so staged, like Finn was trying to count the beats in his head of where he should be, when he should punch, duck, etc. Wasn't free-flowing or natural at all.

I hated foggy in daredevil. Then I realized I don't care about Matt Murdock and the blonde chick is hideous in HD, so I'm done.

I think it was bad casting too. However, it has been repeatedly said by people that knew other Iron Fists that Danny is a terrible Iron Fist. Maybe they got the casting wrong on purpose. I also think Finn Jones plays Danny Rand fine, he's just a bad Iron Fist.
