Interesting video and I watched a second one about Darth Sidious and Darth Plagueis(sp?), But 99% of that stuff isn't in the movies.
I guess that's why I like movies based on actual events. When Michael Bay has a couple of fighter pilots flying B-25s off of the Hornet for a revenge mission with less than 4 months of training, I immediately know it's bullshite and just focus on what a hot tramp Kate Beckinsale is. I know what really happened at Pearl Harbor and on the Doolittle Raid. I know jackshit about George Lucas' imaginary galaxy.

I'm an avid reader, but I doubt I'll start reading Star Wars books. I'm halfway considering starting Martin's Game of Thrones books, but I'm not sure if I want to make that commitment. I'd rather read about reality than fantasy.

There are some good series of books within the Star Wars universe that are worth the read.. Thrawn and Aftermath series are good..
I get what you're saying though..
I don't read as much as I used to, but I also dont fly through a book either.. My wife does.. She can pick up a normal sized book read it cover to cover in like 2hrs.. Its ridiculous..

Both good reads. Tarkin is damn strong. Catalyst adds a lot to Rogue One. Heir to the Jedi is a nice little story about Luke.

I really wasn't trying to be a smart arse. I've always been aware that many fans hate TLJ. It's hard to avoid their displeasure. They're typically very vocal about.
Earlier in this thread you pointed out to me that saber and sword aren't synonymous to Star Wars fans. I actually get your point. That's why I was surprised Luke called it a sword and it made me understand why a hardcore fan might not like that line, hence some of the gate for TLJ.
