What a horribly acted, telegraph fight scene movie. Malkovich was part of this garbage too.

It’s not like they were back to back.

It hurt me to say this, but In Bruges was 12 years ago.

What an insane bit of thinking...

This exercise would probably make more sense, for some, with Jessica Chastain, who either hasn't been able to land or hasn't chosen a good role since Molly's Game.

I’d bet he’s probably made shittier movies in between that span, and he’s certainly made better movies than this one in that span

They should just morph her and Dallas Bryce-Howard into one person so I can stop being confused in which is which all the time

I think my point was missed, he went from driving a luxury car to driving a yugo. Can he not get good roles? Oh and AVA was really bad.

He's had a lot of roles since 2008. Plenty are good. Haven't seen AVA yet, but I'm guessing you just happened to watch one of the bad ones.

I worded it wrong, forget the in-between, think early career and latest movie comparison.

He’s had good roles in between the 12 years

He was just in the Gentlemen which he was incredible in

Every actor has bad movies besides maybe DDL

In recent years he’s been in the Gentlemen, which is one of the best movies of 2020

He starred in 2 well reviews A24 films in the lobster and Sacred Deer

A little bit before that he was excellent in 7 psychopaths which is an incredible film

He’s filming a role in the new Batman as the Penguin coming out next year

You can just admit defeat on this
