“House of the Dragon” brought in 9.3 million viewers after airing its Season 1 finale on Sunday, according to Warner Bros. Discovery. This includes both linear viewers who caught the episode during its four airings on HBO’s cable channel and HBO Max streams through the night.
That makes Episode 10, titled “The Black Queen,” HBO’s most-watched series finale since predecessor series “Game of Thrones” concluded its eighth and final season with 19.8 million viewers in 2019. However, “House of the Dragon” was not able to beat its own series high of 10.2 million viewers with Episode 2.

Damn HBO for not beginning production on S2 yet. These shows taking absurdly long season breaks is getting old fast.

D&D: “oh we have this rich and complex story that we’ve spent 6 years developing? Let’s make the final two seasons 7 and 6 episodes each so that we can rush through it and ruin all of the groundwork we laid. Also, let’s release them 18 months apart”
GoT’s ending didn’t have to suck. It could have been so much better by simply utilizing normal ten episode seasons to explain what the frick was happening and why. I can’t express how happy I am that the project they rushed the ending for was cancelled. frick D&D.

Some in the audience are still trying to figure out the fight in the air, and the names of the characters not to mention the names of the dragons.
It beats watching the "#1 QB" and his new face lose another one. Maybe he's just doing an homage to this time shifting show.

If there is such a thing as entertainment karma, this is it .
Ran the hurry up no huddle offense and fumbled for no reason instead of being methodical like the rest of the series has been
