Boardwalk is a good show. Homeland is one of the best shows on TV right now.

if somebody wanted to argue that by technical merits boardwalk empire is a better show than homeland(ie production value, better acting, better writing/less plot holes) id buy that argument.
however, i feel that homeland is just so damn entertaining that i can overlook alot of the faults. boardwalk as a whole is great, but there are so many boring moments and uninteresting plot lines that really slow down the show.

Boardwalk is now better. The first season of homeland was good, but the second season has sucked hard where Boardwalk Empire has gotten insanely good.

I like Homeland much more but I also gave up on boardwalk halfway through season 2. I have heard that boardwalk got much better but I just found nothing entertaining about it after 1.5 seasons.
I do agree that Homeland has gotten worse in season 2 but season 1 was so good that it really could only go down.

Both are awesome, but Boardwalk is better. Season 1 was fricking awesome. Season 2 was even better. Season 3 was phenomenal.

Homeland and it isn't close to me, but I also don't get the season 2 detractors. I think the 2nd season has been pretty solid.

Boardwalk is a much better show. Both are good but boardwalk is just hitting its stride. Last season was amazing.

I don't either. Season 2 has been great, I can't understand why everyone loved season 1 and shits on 2. Both are great shows and you can't go wrong with either, but if I was the OP I would watch Homeland first.

I have really liked Season 2 as well. Some of it has been a reach, but its damn fine television.
