Brody is in solitary being shot up with heroin but still has time to shave his head

I keep thinking about this:
what happened after the bunker in season 1 when they all left and somebody found the vest in the bathroom after brody dumped it?
who gave the guy the razor blade to off himself?
who has the power to keep carrie involved after she became such a security risk?
why has Saul not expanded the scope and involvement of the rest of the CIA through all of this?
it is looking more and more like Saul may be in deep

I think I'm getting interested in this show again.

I still enjoy the show, but it definitely stretches credibility at times. No way the doctors at the mental hospital wouldn't have found out Carrie was pregnant.
True, but Homeland has never been about realism in this way.
Not sure why people are surprised when something crazy and silly happens on Homeland - the show has never presented itself as being overly-plausible.
The bit of ridiculousness makes the show fun, IMO.

Not sure, but I thought he put it back on before he left.

I thought it was established that Brody slipped it to him during their fight when he went off camera

I guess Saul, though it is pretty unrealistic. She would have been fired/arrested/shot about a dozen or more times for her insubordination. Sometimes it pisses me off the shite they let her get away with

Maybe he thinks part of it was an inside job and does't want to alert anyone.

Would completely ruin the show if we find out he was involved. I still think Dar is not a good guy.

Here are some things that I don't get / wonder about..
They tell us that the person who moved the bomb is someone we thought was killed in the blast yet when they reveal to us who that is, it' someone we've never seen before. Then they murk him after 30 seconds of screen time and dissolve his body in a bath tub.
I wonder if Javadi played his lawyers and told him that was the guy when it wasn't. Doubt it though because they would be able to figure it out.
Another thing is I think Saul has known from the get go it wasn't Brody. Him asking Javadi if Brody did it, was a front to throw him off. I think Saul(and possible Dar) know who it is but have nothing to go off of. I think that's why Dar let the mission go ahead that night when the dude was shot in the hotel room because they knew it wasn't him (after hearing him on the phone call)
Saul also knows about his wife fricking the spy. I think he probably has for sometime know. Him coming home to them having dinner wasn't a shock to him at all. I am beginning to wonder if Saul let the affair play out to bring her lover/the spy to America so he could try and get info out of him/ keep surveillance on him.

anyone have a shot of the guy in the hotel room?

lol it wasn't him unless they had to use a new actor and shamelessly tried to play it off.

I'm thinking his wife is involved somehow....

I doubt she is involved. The boyfriend in the house sneaking around kind of gives that away. Still, it's interesting to think Saul is playing him.

How the f does Saul know where Brody was being kept? Seems like Saul is playing a deeper game than we realize.
Saul is a master spy.
His level of chess is on another level. He doesn't completely trust Dar either or anyone except Carrie.

Then Saul travels to a foreign country with $10 million in cash with a one-man detail?
Saul went to the president with phase two of the mission.
Preview Spoiler
Looks like he got permission to bring Brody back to the states and turn him back into a badass soldier/spy. Hopefully that landlord that had Brody gets some a/c in that complex with all that money.

And no way in hell would a Type 1 bi-polar be allowed back in the field, given a gun and be trusted with such high level intelligence.

Given the rate at which they're multiplying implausibilities, I won't be surprised if the series finale ends with it all having been Carrie's delusion. That would actually be plausible. I read in the paper yesterday about a kid who lived four years thinking he was starring in a reality TV show.
