If you don't see how an Auschwitz survivor could see the parodies as trivializing a horrific period in time, I don't know what to tell you. I'm sure some Jews will say levity is a good thing, but it wouldn't surprise me if others disagree.
I tend to err on the side of free speach unless it's someone explaining how to make a nuke or encouraging murder

"Downfall" is one awesome movie. I highly recommend it for anybody interested in WW2.

Ironically the only way I think I could properly express my frustration over this news would be through a Hitler "Downfall" parody. 
Sure there were some really crappy ones out there, but the few good ones were HILARIOUS (Cowboys is my favorite)
