HBO Max is damn near the best streaming site out right now

I think this is overblown. I’ve spent 30 minutes trying to find a decent movie I haven’t seen like 5 times and I come up empty every time. HBO has some good shows, but you can get through them in a short time because there aren’t a ton of them. It’s good that some new releases come out on there though

There's literally not a single interesting thing to watch. Not a good movie or tv show.

They have all the goofy Josh Gates shows and the Anthony Bourdain stuff. That's about it.

Warner Bros sure does get passed around a lot. I remember when AOL bought all of Time Warner. For over valued stocks.

I was really looking forward to Reeves' Arkham and Penguin shows. Those might get canned now.

those might get moved to HBO with weekly episodes.

It's the nature of the industry. The major problem is that when a company changes hands, someone will often screw with their predecessors' projects so that any success is credited to the new guys instead of the former regime. But you see that in a lot of businesses, especially in advertising.

This is what I hope happens. I hope that rather than nuke HBOMax’s original programming that they just shift to showing it live on HBO first before uploading it to the streaming service. It’s not like I don’t still stream Westworld just because it also plays on the channel.
