It will be interesting to see how much they start purging with this new ownership and direction along with what new content they will be adding. If quality and content start dipping anymore it may not be worth the price. The James Gunn announcement did not really excite me for the future of DC.

i watched season one. started 2, but never finished it. started to feel "Gotham"-like.

In fairness, the series took a major downturn in the season produced by HBO. The fact that they felt the need to change the name was pretty good evidence that they did not even understand the IP that they had purchased.
The “Alfie“ from season one definitely did not grow into becoming the obsequious Alfred from the 1960s television series. He became the Andy Serkis “Alfred“ from the Ben Affleck film … or perhaps the Sean Pertwee “Alfred” from Gotham.

I enjoyed it for what it is. Nothing earth shattering but pretty good story and entertaining. Hate to see it go.
