I’m in The minority here but I think Eric Bana was the best of the 3.
No doubt. Norton was awful.
...and has everyone overlooked Ben Afleck as Daredevil or Nicholas Cage as Ghostrider?

Out of the main cast Ruffalo is the worst. And I agree with everyone that Howard > Cheadle. But I still like Cheadle's take.

Just saw Venom last night. I hate to say it bc I really enjoy him in most roles but Tom Hardy wasn’t that good as the main character

I like Ruffalo as Hulk. Hulk was just a weak character in IW.
I don’t think Renner is a great actor (minus Wind River), but that character is so incredibly weak it’s hard to say anyone would make much of a difference.
I don’t like Chris Evans in anything. He just sucks as an actor. I’m not sure who else I’d have play that role, but I don’t like him.
They killed it with StarLord, Thor, Lokie, Thanos, Iron Man, Dr Strange, Spider-Man...
Very strong overall

What about a miscast within the movie itself? Ben Kingsley was killing it as the Mandarian for the first half of IM3 then the worse plot decision by Marvel and he became lame comedy relief.

Honestly, think about his journey leading up to Dr. Strange's staircase. He spent a long time trapped in the Hulk before and during Ragnarok. Is woken up on Sakaar, then he finally seems to find some common ground with Hulk on Asgard. They cast off into space and are attacked by Thanos, but is unexpectedly hurtled onto the Bifröst back to Earth. Then, the shite hits the fan and Hulk refuses to help.
I think Ruffalo maybe could have done a better job of showing that mental struggle, but I think it would have required some more time, and the movie was plenty long.

I think Ruffalo would be great as Hulk if he wasn't playing him as comic relief.
I like ScarJo now as Black Widow but Marvel should've saved her for another major role like Captain Marvel and gotten some European chick to be Black Widow, an up and comer.
