GOT: What will he be now? (*Spoilers, possibly book discussion as well*)

We know that Jon Snow is now alive and reborn, and was dead for several hours.
But as Beric said, you lose a bit of yourself everytime.
Will he immediately swear off his oaths as fulfilled, and take up the mantle of Jon Stark? Or another house perhaps based on rumors? Will his personality have changed, to where he is no longer himself, but now different?
Will he automatically think of himself as Azor Ahai, and no longer think of himself as Jon?
How will this have changed him?

I hope he's evil and just kills everyone before putting the sword through his own heart thus ending the loop for good.
I have no fear now of any character dying.
Will still watch the show and love it, but I'm rooting for Ramsay now.

he will lose the part that gives a damn about staying in the nights watch. Then take his talents to the windling army to go roll on Ramsey.

I think being freed of his oaths (if he chooses to look at it as such) is pretty likely. I don't expect any other radical personality changes. He may be a bit tougher now that he has experienced betrayal though.
Overall his resurrection, especially if he is TPTWP, may be different than Beric. Beric also died quite a few times, Jon is only up to one so far.
The biggest question is whether he continues to serve the Night's Watch or if he enters the larger scope of Westeros politics.

I'm thinking he's more ruthless, with a single-minded outlook to protect the North (and his surviving family), from both the Others and the Bolton incursion.

I think he tries to unite the Northern Houses with the Nights Watch and the Wildlings as Jon Stark, against the threat beyond the Wall.
He thinks he will be building defenses and will be attempting to when the Wall comes down.

This is the most ridiculous assertion I have ever seen related to Jon Snow's resurrection. Ned, Rob, Oberyn, Quorin, Renly, and Roose and plenty more are all major characters than have died and aren't coming back. Acting like OH EVERYONE COMES BACK NOW is just factually incorrect.
Additionally resurrection of the dead is established a long arse time ago with Beric. If he didn't make you believe no one could die then does Jon? Overall Jon's resurrection is likely related to one or more very specific prophecies and/or his skills as a warg.
Until they fricking drag Rob and Ned back, bitching that no one can die is ridiculous.

I'm with you. I think this will harden him and strengthen his resolve. I fully expect Jon to be in Winterfel within the next few episodes, especially if Sansa gets to Castle Black soon. Jon is going to introduce Ramsey to Valarian Steel.
Is the Watch done? The betrayal of the Lord Commander by so many of the Watch only to find out he's not dead?

I have a feeling Thorne is about to meet the chopping block.

Sansa ain't getting to castle black any time soon.

I am hoping his butterfinger handling of his sword has finally passed away.
I think season 5 alluded to what he would lose. "kill the boy Jon Snow."
He lost his childhood and any clinging to it. I think we are about to get The Man Jon Snow.

If they are heading to the wall, she would be there within the next episode or two.
My big fear is that on the way, they hear that "lord commander snow is dead" and they turn around and head for the Riverlands to get to her Uncle.

Isn't there some thought out there that Jon, Tyrion, and Daenerys are all related?

No it's not because I've watched two people die and come right back to life.
You're opinion on the matter won't effect mine. I appreciate the response, but to say I'm wrong to believe, or in your wording, 'the most ridiculous assertion ever related to the resurrection' is the cause of someone being too defensive and close minded to appreciate anyone else's thoughts on the matter.

There is a theory that they are Targaryen.

Don't want them to kill Olly. He needs to become Wun Wuns dingleberry picker. No better place for the little shite.

A whole 2 people. How many have stayed in the grave?

Two less than should have.
