Seriously, what's he talking about? The show has had bad arse women from the start and they die equally as the men do.
Hell, there were more powerful women except Cersi keeps killing them all.

This is why you Melt all the time. You think you should be the show runner of this show and demand every storyline go exactly as you envision it in your head.
I don't see it this way at all. I think OML is very well read on the books (a lot more than me and probably you) and, like me, he sees Jamie's storyline and just wants him to continue to grow as someone who was bad and ended up good.
Old Lady Tyrell told him something that in her last living moments would have made any father with a sword sever her head.
But he didn't.
But I still believe he will be the one who puts his sword into Cersie's heart.

Damn, so that was really good. There was strategy and counter strategy and unexpected shite and pretty heavy emotional stuff. Completely moving in the right direction. Maybe I'm drunk but if they can keep this up, I'll forgive season five.
You should tell this to that guy that was saying GOTs is like a Micheal bay movie yesterday

People bitchabout the plot moving slow but also apparently want everyone to take 5 episodes to sail and take the appropriate time to make it to their destination so that it's realistic
You can give me dragons
You can give me armies of the undead
You can give me resurrection
But I'll be damned if you mess with the travel times by ship it takes to get from location to the next.
THAT'S where I DRAW THE LINE

I believe Danny's only chance is to get the Dothraki and dragons to meet Jamie head on in the open field. But....they have to get their asses off that rock somehow. They should have sailed straight to The Reach and marched on Kings Landing.

How much do DB, etc al, regret not being able to space this action out better?
Probably easier for them since there's no source material. Kinda feels like the last season of Breaking Bad, where it moved really fast.
I like this.

Tired argument. A show must abide by the physical realities of its universe.

Jaime should send a raven from Highgarden back to Cersei just saying "I have found and killed the killer of our eldest son"
the ambiguity would be great

The problem is if you are right then OML will melt because he didn't choke her with his hand. He needs every detail to go the way he wrote it in his head or else he throws a hissy fit
I like him usually in these threads but he gets so caught up in his own writing that he forgets that he's the audience and not the author

There was a scene in the season preview where Jamie was riding alone in a field of a wiped out army.

I'm with you 100%. The redemption is slow but significant and still building. She's basically all he has left right now. He'll come around, but it's not shocking to me that he's going to be one of the last to do so.

Oh, and I predict the Sands escape somehow. Cough cough Bronn.

This episode and the first episode have been great. The second episode was not bad.
This is shaping up to be the best season yet.

Much like he was the last to see the Mad King for what he was and finally put an end to it

So far Tyrion has been full of terrible advice for Dany:
-He nearly lost Mereen in the two weeks or whatever he was in charge
-He got the Greyjoy fleet destroyed and lost the leaders of Dorne
-He got the unsullied trapped on the opposite side of the continent
The failures to understand how effective Euron's navy would be and the machinations of his brother have cost Dany a ton in the war effort. What should have been a routine siege of King's Landing looks like it will now lead to dragons having to burn the red keep to the ground to take the city.
I know he is safe in the show, but damn Tyrion would probably already be dead if his liege was anyone but Dany.

It isn't time travel or teleportation. They're just not showing 5 episodes of sitting on a boat.

No way. Tyene is dead.
I'll be pissed if he breaks Ellaria out.

I think the actress that played Lady Tyrell must have trouble standing: All of her scenes were seated I believe.
