That would be awesome. I'm just not sure I believe it. People thought this season would also be really long, but it's only a couple episodes. I think it will be similar next season.

There's only so much to talk about. Plus the episode one thread included a couple pages of non-GoT relationships and politics.

Y'all think Shark is sick-minded, huh?

You need to read GRRM's short story about a whorehouse staffed with corpses. The Johns plug into an apparatus that re-animates dead body of their choice and it indulges him in every disgusting deviance he can imagine.
It's called "Meathouse Man"

Shark is simply applying what he knows Fat man is capable of.

Eta: I think he's pretty damn close.

Agreed. I liked OML's fan fiction. Seemed very GRRM-like. I would imagine something similar possibly where Ellaria is harnessed to the giant cross bow and tortured with her hand attached to the lever...pointed right at Tyene. As soon as she flinches from any pain, she triggers the machine to kill her daughter...and then gets raped to death...lol.

Now THAT sounds very Mad King-like.
A call- back to how he tortured and killed Brandon and Rickard Stark...making Cersei even closer to Jaimes nightmare.

It's almost disturbing how much we are looking forward to a brutal execution. How bummed will y'all be if they do it off-screen?

Speaking of more Mad King Aerys--Mad Queen Cersei parallels, does anyone else think that at some point (maybe not until S8??) Euron will pull a Tywin, have Cersei let him in the gates, and then sack King's Landing and take it for himself?

She's an unlikable bitch and deserves 7 Hells' worth of pain.

So yeah, I'd be miffed.

That would be in line with the Greyjoys usual stupid decisions throughout their history

He's a Greyjoy.
That could happen, absolutely.

Damn, how come this thread isn't as active as the ones for E1 & E2??

There's 11 pages, it's pretty active. I think the second episode was like at page 12 when the show started.

Well, Euron is the "younger brother" of Balon, and he does have "2 good hands" to choke a person.

I don't think it will be anything too crazy. They'll probably just show Ellaria and Tyene begging for each other's life and then kill them both off.

Euron could pull that off if he played all his cards right this season. There's still a lot of cards that would have to fall his way though. I give that a <10% chance of happening. He needs a lot of help to over-power or manipulate the forces in the way of that happening.

He'd have to hold the Blackwater with the Iron Fleet...and just wait for a clear sign who the winner will be.

He couldn't keep KL, but he would be handsomely rewarded.
(As long as the gold price doesn't apply there)

Yeah. That's really it. I just thought let's combine Gregor Clegane with Aerys (i.e. what Cersei has become) and possibly accounting for anything Euron did beforehand, and it took me 2 seconds to think of that death. I just think it's obvious from what the Fat Man has done in the past. He's a sadistic turd who likes history repeating itself.

So this episode we potentially get:

Jaime attacking Highgarden?
Unsullied attacking Casterly Rock?
More greyscale treatment?
Jon on a boat heading to Dragonstone?
Sansa and LF bickering?
Dany and Tyrion talking about the naval loss / rethinking plans?
Grey Worm / Missandei death?
Randyl Tarly doing something?
Hound and Co. doing badassery?
Eastwatch setup?
Something with Arya or something with Bran?
Brienne?
Gendry?
SAND SNAKE EXECUTION!!!!!

he's already declared his intention to marry cersei and thus "occupy" kings landing
I think is clear that whoever wants to storm the city is going to have to go thru him.

it's would be silly to have introduced him this late and him not have a big role to play now. wouldn't surprise me at all if he's eventually going to be the one left standing in kings landing before the final resolution

Staying with the WWFMD theme...I can see Greyworm NOT being the one that dies.
