They should just make Lady Mormont Warden of the North.
The actress they cast has been perfect so far - the best child casting on the show since Joffrey, quite frankly.

If Ramsay is just flaying Rickon 10 feet from his own line then Jon never breaks rank. If Jon doesn't break rank, the entire fight plays out much more advantageously for Jon. Ramsay didn't just play that game for fun. He set it up so that 1) there was a chance for Jon to save Rickon and 2) Ramsay could remain safe on his side of the field.
It was pretty clear Ramsay wanted no part of the hand to hand to fighting. If he is flaying Rickon then he places himself in danger.

Or just general prisoners. Or hell even just random people.
The point was to intimidate Jon's army. Not sure it really matters who was on there.

I'm thinking this is likely, or perhaps some prisoners from Stannis' army.

I have one question aboout last night. The episode was awesome.
Sansa was yelling at Jon for not having enough men, and that he didn't know ramsay, etc. Why withold the info about the Vale and LF from Jon and let him march into certain death? I have to think it was for TV suspense effect but why let Jon and all those men march to their deaths when you had the LF card in your pocket and NOT tell Jon about it?
had to think she wasnt sure LF would show up

Partly. The flaming bodies were probably also being used as distance markers for the archers, and the flames were to allow them to account for windage.
In full disclosure, I saw that explanation on Reddit.

In Westeros, they go to 205%

Chance that the following happens?
1. Cersei burns down the sept. 100%
2. Tommen dies. 80%
3. FreyPie 90%
4. Jaime dies 5%
5. Tower of Joy shows baby Snow 75%
6. Dany sails West 50%
7. Wall comes down 40%
I definitely think Cersei burns down the Sept and Tommen and HS dies as a result. I think it would be great if Margary lives and announces she is pregnant. The only people that know for fact it can't be Tommen's is Tommen (dead), HS(dead) and Margary. I think we lose Loras too.
Frey Pie-I just don't see Jamie dying yet. It would be more appropriate to see him die on a battlefield instead of at Frey dinner party.
Tower of Joy-we have to see the rest of this vision in the finale. Hodors aren't going to remember all that came before it if we wait till next season to finish that vision. I think Bran and Uncle Benjen arrive at the wall only to discover Jon has left. They rest up and that's when the vision is finished. Bran sends a raven to Winterfell. Then the WW army arrives at the wall. I'm thinking since Bran let them touch him that they can now bypass the wall...probably breaks the wall down. It would make sense because Bran keeps being responsible for a lot of bad things happening.
Dany gets on the boat-100% happening maybe she can pick up Arya along the way? I need a map.
Jon/Sansa/LF-I think Sansa and LF probably get married. Jon being the honorable person he is, knows he owes LF some gratitude for saving them and will agree to LF being the Warden of the North. Jon knows in the grand scheme of things, the WW army DGAF about who is a king/warden/knight/etc. I can also see Jon telling Sansa, you make this decision for yourself if you want to marry him. You are an adult now and I won't force you to do anything you don't want to do.
Mel/Davos-Davos is probably going to demand a trial for Mel and she will be banished. We won't know where until next season.

Also good points. I just don't think the identity of those bodies is material at all. We will probably never know.

we watched the 1st 2 episodes before last nights ep, and you could definitely tell the dialogue was sharper then compared to now as S1 was almost scene for scene with the books
I was starting to feel this way, but last night was different. They nailed some key dialogue scenes that truly felt like they were straight out of the books. The Dany/Tyrion conversation, the Dany/Masters conversation, the Ramsay/Jon standoff before the battle, & (most of all) the Sansa/Ramsay scene with the hounds.

Nah, Braavos isn't on her way to King's Landing. Or really anywhere in Westeros except the far north.

Holy shite there are some whiny pussies in this thread bitching. Yet they still continue to watch the show. They must be miserable assholes IRL.

He straight line puts her right around Dorne... Which conveniently is potentially plotting rebellion against the Lannisters. Varys also just got on a boat, presumably to Westeros. So overall the signs seem to point towards her allying with the Dornish.
