Ok, I carefully googled black dinner. I do not believe it is a spoiler but it is a supposed real life event that the red wedding is based on.

If that's a future event, you should edit that. I don't even want to know.

It's not. Apparently, its what inspired the Red Wedding.

ETA:

Sorry. It has nothing to do with the plot. You are safe to google the historical event.

You might get images of black people eating

Special episode with the ghost of Sydney Poitier.

I can't believe nobody found this even mildly humorous.

Yeah, never do the wikia or wiki. They'll drop a spoiler in the first sentence.

I didn't see a spoiler on the GoT wiki. But he's an asshat and his info isn't from the GoT wiki.

There was a wiki somewhere that seemed to only keep up with the TV series and didn't have book spoilers...but I don't remember which one and I don't want to accidentally keep spoiling myself whenever I want to look up the names of Daenerys's dragons or something.

The safest place is the HBO GoT page. It has maps, some history, and rundowns of the families and how the are intertwined. Zero spoilers.

Yeah, at this point it's difficult to keep up w/ all the characters and locations without using the HBO page. Helps a lot.

Avoid the wikis though. You'll be reading some background shite and then the fricker jumps ahead hundreds of years in time to something that hasn't happened yet.

It is. I know that now.

But a green brunch would be cool. I imagine a Tyrell affair with lots of wine and titties.

What does that mean? I saw my list of names was removed. All I did was google the name of the episode and that's what I got.

This is bullshite. What did y'all do? What was spoiled by that?

I didn't post a link of any kind. If you found something you didn't like, you did it on your own. Again, this is bullshite.

Lastly, there's Lady (Sansa). This Direwolf's dead, yet Sansa is not. Was Lady's death foreshadowing of Sansa's eventual death? Was Lady's killing just showing the price of hanging around with the Lannisters?

I think it signifies her death as a Lady symbolically. AS in she no longer just a naive innocent girl.

People are just screwing with you man. Once you get labeled a reader, there's a stigma around you.

That list you posted was from the Wiki of Ice and Fire. Which contained names from all of the books.

What was spoiled?? Future names that Dany goes by. Which could allow people to form some conclusion. You're a jackass that acts so smart when it comes to the shows but either lack common sense or just don't give a frick about anyone else.

The Scots-

quote:

The Douglases became so powerful that by the early fifteenth century they were seen as a threat to the stability of the nation. In 1440 the young William Douglas, 6th Earl of Douglas and his brother were invited to dine with the ten year-old King James II of Scotland. The dinner was organised by Sir William Crichton of Clan Crichton. Known as the Black Dinner, a black bull's head, the symbol of death, was brought in. After the dinner the Douglas chiefs were dragged out to Castle Hill, given a mock trial and beheaded. The Clan Douglas then laid siege to Edinburgh Castle. Perceiving the danger, Crichton surrendered the castle to the king who was then given the title of Lord Crichton.

And who are you, the proud lord said, that I must bow so low...
