Technically Sansa is everything now. She's the eldest living Stark and the Lannister's key to holding the North through her marriage with Tyrion.
Glad you all didn't get spoiled on tonight. It was as awful watching it as it was reading it.

I can picture it perfectly
Probably asking who died

So what about Edmure and blackfish?
Also: I guess we know who Tywin was writing to.

No wonder Tywin spoke of Sansa as the key to the North with such confidence. He knew he was going to wipe Robb out for a while now.
I love an effectual villain. Watch him wind up dying due to something stupid or just anti-climatic at some point down the line. Like he chokes on a fishbone or something
Are we sure that this was Tywin behind this slaughter and not Lord Frey getting his own revenge? Lord Bolten is the only one who said anything about the Lannisters.

The opposite. As far as the world knows, she is the only heir to Winterfell.

Bold prediction: Sansa and Tyrion will kill more lannisters than Dani and her dragons will.
I knew the shite was gonna hit the fan in some way this episode, but never have I been more happy with my decision to stick my fingers in my ears and say "LALALALLAICANTHEARYOU" when someone brings game of thrones up.

So in essence we had the Stark army storyline, the Dany storyline, and the King's Landing/Lannister storyline. This essentially makes it a two horse race for the throne, I guess.
Great episode, I didn't see that coming at all, especially the brutality of it.

Even though there is nothing left? No castle, no bannermen, probably no money.

No. I'm certain of it. The Rains of Castamere is a song specifically about Tywin Lannister.
Also. This basically sums up my feelings up to this exact moment:

quote:Yeah, what happened to Robb's uncle and Blackfish. It was all pretty confusing. Did they kill them in the bedding ceremony. I was too busy freaking out.
I was so positive she was a secret agent for the Lannisters. Had the Tully men already left the room when the slaughter started?

One of them left the room for sure. Surely they weren't in on it...killing their own kinfolk.

A crap ton of farmland, probably mines, and trees, direct access to The Wall, and just a lot of places for rebel elements to hide and plan revenge in.
If Tywin is the smart man we know he is, he's going to secure the North once and for all.
Edit: Also, Blackfish getting drunk had having to take a piss definitely saved his life. Only reason I can imagine writing a character leaving the room before a slaughter happens in said room. And apparently Blackfish is a total badass in the same league of Barristan Selmy and a two handed Jamie Lannister.
