If so, I also didn't think they were that close to wall. If only there was a place I could go to find out what kind of range "warging" has....

Just watched it. Enemies is correct:

Jojen: I saw Jon Snow.
Bran: You saw him? At Castle Black?
J: He was on the wrong side of the wall, and surrounded by enemies.

Hopefully that means we get to see some Selmy action. I really want to see how badass he really is.

i'd have to see the line that was spoken to ayra again. i took it as much grander than just revenge on lannisters. like i started to wonder if certain great houses had eye colors associated with them...

Jon's enemies or Jojen's? Does he know that Jon is "turned" or that he is still "loyal"? Every answer brings more questions.

Someone needs to go back and see what color eyes Cersei, The hound, etc (what ever names she is saying) have.

This week the episode was also extremely short as the first 10 minutes of air time were spent advertising some HBO crappy arse news show and the episode also ended 10 minutes or so before the hour mark was reached. Very short episode.

I noticed that as well. On XBL you can see the whole length, and it was only 53 minutes. Normally they're around 58 minutes or so (some in the past have even gone over an hour). I thought that was weird. The end credits are a little over a minute long, and the opening credits are right at 1:46 long. So this episode was actually only about 50 minutes long (of actual show).

I thought it was shorter but not by a huge amount. 50 mins is pretty standard

Did you watch it via XBL last night? If so, how did you like it? And what time did they put it on there? When I went to watch it at about 8:25 it was already up.

I keep seeing this, but per the show we still don't know who he is. Even the Wiki episode writeup still calls him "the cleaning boy."

Exactly. I get that there are clues leading us to Bolton (the sigil, bolton sending his son, yadda yadda yadda) but this show is usually more direct with character intro's so there has to be a reason why they aren't outright telling us.

I don't believe there is a range and I also don't believe what they see is literally what is going on. They are no Beastmasters . Haven't you noticed that the Stark boy sees things before they happen and many of his dreams are surreal? I could be wrong but I don't think they see things through the animals eyes as they would through ther own eyes.

it's people making an assumption based on clues from the show.

1) the "X"
2) bolton mentioning his bastard was going to re-take winterfell
3) we assume theon is taken by the guys outside the gates at winterfell blowing the horns
4) "theon's tormentor" waking him using the horn

it adds up, even though we are not explicitly told.

edit: i wouldn't be surprised if its him or not, with the way this show goes.

I'll just refer to him as Theon's Dominatrix from now on

my take on why it's still vague is:

if it is true, then the BOlton's
1) have theon
2) have info that the stark boys are still alive
3) have jamie lannister

those are some pretty big hole cards if they have them all.

Yup - and the "you bastard" before the getting shot in the face with the arrow.

The horn thing makes me believe this guy is the ultimate troll - he knew that would drive Theon crazy and now he's bringing it back into play. Dude is a pro.
