Okay, Kashonly is intolerable in the other thread. I think he might be a scatter bomb spoiler.
I had a question I'd been meaning to ask, but I forgot what it was.
Edit: now I remember. The blonde girl that was eaten alive by Ramsay's dogs. Was that the other girl who was teasing Theon before they cut his weenie off? If so, what did she do to piss them off?

Yeah. She was jealous that Ramsey found the other girl prettier

There was a poster in the Crackpot thread who said he started reading the books when he was in college in 1999....then I wrote I was in 3rd grade at that time...

Barney has been on since 1992 if that makes things better.
My first real job in High School was with Blockbuster in 92, having to listen to Barney songs on the kids TV was turrible.

Slightly more immediate gratification from that ending.

I had never heard of the books or the show until the middle of season 2.
I also graduated in 2013 FWIW.

I wish we could have one happy ending like that.

i liked the beetle speech. Westeros is a world of killing. Tyrion steps out of it (on the horizon of his own possible death) and asks the question "why" again like he did when he watched Orson.
I been hearing that shite for years (kunth kunth). And if you heard it, and you were a bug, that meant your arse. I never gave much thought to what it meant. I just thought it was some cold-blooded shite to say to a motherfricker before he wet the garden up with some insect guts. But I've seen shite my entire life that made me think twice.
See, now I'm thinking, maybe it means Westeros is the evil man, and I'm the righteous man, and my intelligence and good intentions are the shepherd protecting my righteous arse in the valley of darkness. Or it could mean Orson's the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the beetles that's evil and selfish. I'd like that. But that shite ain't the truth. The truth is, I'm the weak, and people like Tywin are the tyranny of evil men. But I'm trying, Kingslayer. I'm trying real hard to be the shepherd."
it doesn't really translate i just wanted to attempt it.
i do think the speech was tyrion trying to figure out what life and death was all about in the world he lived in.
and also paralleled to the mountain himself. orson was basically a dumb beetle killing machine that loved killing. he seemed indestructable but something eventually got him too.

Have a coworker that since Memorial day seemed to be on youtube playing the Dornishman's Wife. Now she is so bummed out, been in her office three times this week, all three times she is on youtube listening to the Halfman's song.
