They definitely killed that theory.
No question.

Along with the Lannister Honeypot theory.
would it be a spoiler to tell me what the Lannister Honeypot theory is?
Posted on 4/9/14 at 6:29 pm to iluvdatiger
No. Its just a theory that Talisa was a Lannister spy the whole time but it doesnt really pan out since they killed her.

Also Dunk and Egg would be good as a miniseries. Maybe a five episode arc?
Wouldn't mind this, but I think they would need to start with the pilot covering the entirety of the Blackfyre Rebellion. From there they can lead off into the Dunk and Egg storyline.

Still would prefer covering Robert's Rebellion first.

The books were ambiguous about a potential heir for Robb Stark. His wife simply disappears from the storyline after the red wedding and so there was a bunch of theories about her and a potential heir.
She was in the next book, it was from a Lannister's POV. Since she is dead on the show...you find out she was on birth control, & has been forbidden to marry or have relations for the next two years. She was being sent somewhere under heavy guard. It was ambiguous what she and her family were aware of.

Exactly; someone compiled clips in a YouTube video to show the theory and it made a lot of sense last season when I had first started reading the books. I believed the theory until the Red Wedding...then realized that went out the window.

Then they had her writing suspicious letters in Old Valyrian to a "relative" which added fuel to the honeypot fire but guess that was just the showrunners fricking with us.

Lannister Honeypot video that was speculated about last season
holy cow! I remember thinking it odd when was laying in bed writing a letter, but that video has me convinced that she was a spy for sure!

It's definitely a good video. A lot of book readers speculated about it last season and we were all clueless until they added in the pregnancy and her presence at the Red Wedding..then the theory died with Talisa dying.

Well if she was a spy then they killed their own spy.
Posted on 4/9/14 at 8:46 pm to ladytiger118
maybe she really was a spy and it messed things up for Tywin when she got pregnant so he had to kill her too. And maybe that's why they stabbed her stomach first. I don't remember them making an announcement that she was pregnant. How did that random dude know to stab her there unless he knew she was prego?

Enhanced abortion technique. Couldn't let Robb's heir live.

Walder Frey comments earlier on in the episode that he's seen a few bellies and can tell what goes on under a woman's dress.

I did a rewatch recently and remember when he said that. Plus her belly was round/looking pregnant at that point.

So, did I hallucinate the posts to this thread last season, claiming (after the Red Wedding) that Talisa's name in the book was Jane something and that they had a kid with a really goofy name"? Something with "bell" in it?
I'm not searching, for the results will be dark and full of spoilers.

the frey's had a retarded son/grandson nick named jinglebell (Aegon Frey), and thats who Catelyn kills at the red wedding instead of the shows portrayal of the wife
and you are full of shite, jingle bell was never brought up in this thread last year so you read that while reading spoilers/ the crackpot thread which you are known to do

well, I don't remember that discussion last year, but I also tried to stay out of the middle ground thread. BUT I did read up to the red wedding last night and Rob's wife was not even at the red wedding. There was a jinglebell that I think was Lord Frey's grandson, and he was in attendance at the Red Wedding.
